WEEE Legislation
In January 2007 the UK introduced the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations. WEEE is a new 'producer-responsibility-led' piece of legislation which aims to address the environmental impacts of end of life electrical and electronic equipment and to encourage the collection, treatment, reuse, recovery and environmentally sound disposal of such equipment. The regulations affect brand owners, importers, distributors and retails of EEE. Revive Mobile has been approved by the Environment Agency as a WEEE Authorised Treatment Facility.
